My husband and I recently got a German shepherd puppy. We knew German Shepherds are very smart dogs, so we were excited about our new puppy and thought that life would be amazing with her by our side. Well, little did we know that no matter how smart the breed is known to be, puppies can be a nightmare. And so was our Lacey! Tons of energy, constantly biting, I mean nonstop biting, hands, feet, furniture, cats...you name it. She did not want to walk outside (I have no idea why). When we would trick her into going outside, she only wanted to walk on the grass. She would not listen to me or my husband at all. I watched a million YouTube videos on how to train a dog. Not much was helping. I cried a few times (that also didn't help). Finally, I decided to get a trainer because I was losing my mind. I did a thorough research and read every review, and decided to go with Armando. Armando had the best reviews, and now I know why. We just finished our last session today, and Lacey is a different dog. Thanks to Armando, we have learned how to speak her language. She doesn't bite anymore; she listens to us, and her leash walking is perfect. All the concerns that we had and everything we wanted her to learn, we were able to accomplish with Armando's help and guidance. His training was worth every penny.

The Dog Whisper!

Armando doesn’t teach your dog, he teaches YOU. We chose to adopt a 70 lb pit bull but don’t have extensive experience with the breed. We wanted to be confident we were making the right choice for our family, which includes 5 cats. Armando came out and did a behavioral assessment which reassured us we were choosing a dog that was not aggressive and that we could control. Our major concern was the level of reactivity to the cats. Bruno has progressed from being totally uncontrollable if we saw any stray cats to now ignoring them when we walk him. He will now sit patiently in his place while in the same room as our house cats! We know sit, down, off, place, break, heel, come, and leave it. We learned how to handle different situations like introducing him to new dogs, managing leash pulling, and focusing his attention when he gets excited. I really can’t say enough about how great it was working with Armando. He was patient with us AND the dog, answered every question we had, and gave us the tools essential to being responsible dog owners. I would hire Armando again in a heartbeat!

Working with Armando has been a wonderful experience. His care and concern for animals is palpable and he turned our dog Duchess into a completely new dog. She went from being an aggressive and territorial ball of fluff to being the sweetest little puppy in the world in just a few weeks. Originally, Duchess would bite us and always drew blood because of her sharp canines (she’s only 22 pounds soaking wet) and we couldn’t have guests over, couldn’t take her to places where dogs would be, we couldn’t hug in the house without setting her off, I couldn’t dance or bop my head to music… it was pretty exhausting. Now we can take her around other dogs and have people over and if there are any issues we have the tools to redirect her. We did the full PetSmart training and had a personal trainer before this and nothing worked for the aggression. We were close to giving the dog away even though she was a rescue to begin with. Now, I couldn’t be happier with our pup and no longer have to fear she’s going to attack someone or their puppy. Thanks, Armando!!!

Armando is literally a life saver! I got my first puppy and was having such a hard time training on my own and it was getting so bad i couldn’t even walk my dog for too long because he pulled and would reactive to everything and just not listen. Armando from the first day was so patient and even after just the first day i saw changes. Ive completed my dogs training and i couldn’t be happier with all the positive changes, all the tools, and education he’s given me. He always made sure I felt comfortable and confident after each lesson. My ollie walks, so much better, he handles distraction better, listens much more. I definitely recommend and will be looking forward to working with him in the future with the advanced classes for my pup! If i could give him more than 5 stars i would!
